My Spreadsheet has one External Link in it. It works fine. Anytime the External Workbook is changed, my spreadsheet updates Automatically. I went to the "Startup Prompt" and selected the option to "Don't Display the Alerts and Update Links.
Now, when I open my Spreadsheet, I get an error that says "This workbook contains one or more Links that cannot be updated"
I clicked the "Edit Links". It shows the source and says the Status is OK.
I was afraid there was a ghost External Link I wasn't aware of. So, I deleted My external link, saved file and opened, and it opens fine and "External Links" under Data tab on Ribbon isn't highlighted since that was the only external link in teh Spreadsheet.
Again, when I open my spreadsheet, the External link worked and is updated. Any reason why I'm getting that error or how I can turn it off so Users do not see it?
