Can an Access database be exported to Oracle?
If yes, would all the formatting of the tables, queries and reports be retained?

thanks in advanced for any and all responses.........

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
In the absence of another reply, a couple of ideas:-

My only experience of Oracle import is one file that I make into comma delimited and use a specially programmed pre-defined Oracle import method. Access/Oracle drivers are available. This is a closely restricted Corporate database.

My experience with Excel/Access suggests that your best method will be to only export final Access tables to Oracle (requiring Make Table queries). You may get away with other methods temporarily, but this is more stable in the long run. The less work that needs to be done at run-time, the less things to go wrong. Especially when file servers are involved. The tables can easily be converted to text files if necessary.
