Export Date from Access to 3rd Party Software

I have a large database where I need to export the date of each record to a 3rd Party software. The problem is that the data in Access is date/time stamped and I don't seem to be able to parse the data to JUST the date value for the export.

Any thoughts?

The description is spot on, but I'm having difficulty implementing the solution. The txt output is sent directly from the query and I'm not sure how to make the setting changes from there.
