I just need someone to confirm my suspicions about something. IF I export a table or query results to a text file, and one of the field's is a number, is it true that the number will always have two decimal places appended to it? Even if the data contained in the field is a whole number? I cannot find any mention of specifying number of decimal places in the export wizard, and I have experimented with quite a few options in regards to the field type so I feel fairly confident that this is true. At the same time it bothers me that the only way I can see to export this data without decimal places is by changing the data type to text. Am I missing something?

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Well, yes, it probably is true for the Wizards. However, once you start getting into Import/Export using code, you can fulfill pretty much every one of your unholy desires (well, ALMOST every :devilish: ), including formatting.
