Hi, is there a way to set windows explorer default directory?

Hi highndry,

You can click start run and type C:\WINNT\explorer.exe /e,c:\dell which will open Windows Explorer in the dell folder, or create desktop shortcuts, to open any specific folder. Here are a few examples:

C:\WINNT\explorer.exe /e,c:\dell

C:\WINNT\explorer.exe /e,C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music\Sample Playlists\0994C143

C:\WINNT\explorer.exe /e,C:\WINNT\TWAIN_32\Network ScanGear\1.4
