Expand table on protected sheet

Hi,
I have a wb for data entry.
On one ws the data is entered in a table and at the end of the day copied and saved to another ws in the wb with a macro.
I would like to protect the data entry ws, but if I do my table doesn’t expand anymore....
Is there a workaround for that?
