I have two fields: one called Amount, and the other called Description.

The description criteria has something like: Not Like "*TEXT2EXCLUDE*".
However, there is an exception to the criteria above, which is do not exclude if >30000000.

What's the approach to this in Access?

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
You can do this with an OR statement, i.e.
Code:
WHERE ([Description] Not Like "*TEXT2EXCLUDE*") OR ([Amount] > [COLOR=#333333]30000000)[/COLOR]
If using the Query Builder, just put this criteria on the next Criteria row.

In the Query Builder, Criteria entered on the the same row is treated as "AND". Criteria entered on different rows is treated as "OR".
