Hello I have a question:

I have tried the exercise above, using the data provided, etc.
I attempted to plot data (XY Scatter, no lines), and add a trend line
to give y=mx+b. My r-squared value agrees, but no matter what I try
my formula is always:

y = 0.0902x - 1.8785
R2 = 0.8745

The answer key = shows y = 9.6904x + 30.345
What am I doing wrong?? Any hints on this.

thanks

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
I spoke to the author. He say:

Yes, if the independent factor is Hb%, the formula is indeed y = 0.0902x - 1.8785. If the independent factor is RBCount, the formula would be: y = 9.6904x + 30.345
