Excel's built-in web browser

Good day.

I found out that "Excel 2019 Professional Plus" 's built-in web browser is: "Internet Explorer".
(To reproduce: Menu Insert > Links > Insert link > Button: "Browse the web" > Internet Explorer opens...
...even if Windows Settings > Default apps > Default web browser is set to "Microsoft Edge").

With "Excel 365", the same steps will open "Microsoft Edge".

Excel's built-in web browser version impacts which add-ins will work (or fail to work).

My question:
Where could I get a list of the built-in web browser by Excel versions (starting with Excel 2019...)
For example, I suspect that "Excel 2019 home edition" has Edge as the built-in web browser...(but I cannot test as I don't have it installed).

Thanks!
