I was trying to open a excel workbook with VBA macro code Workbooks.Open("Filepath\Filename.xlsm"). It is crashing as soon as it is opened. When I am trying to open manually then it is not crashing. Any idea or suggestions please.

Looking for help!

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
U need to specify the entire path of the workbook that U want to open not the filepath or filename of the existing workbook. HTH. Dave

Again, that is not a valid filepath. If U want the file path to use, open the workbook and run this code...
Code:
Sub test()
MsgBox ThisWorkbook.FullName
End Sub
Now to open that workbook from another workbook...
Code:
Workbooks.Open filename:= "Enter whatever it said in the test sub here in quotes"
When asking for help, one should accept, or at least trial the assistance provided. Dave
