I need a code please to automatically save my excel workbook when I close the workbook.

Thanx in advance!!!

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Put the following code in the ThisWorkbook object in the VBA editor:

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_BeforeClose(Cancel As Boolean)
    Application.DisplayAlerts = False
        ActiveWorkbook.Save
    Application.DisplayAlerts = True
End Sub

Thanks Roli001!

Your code works great!

I have a worksheet with 2 userforms within it. Whenever I click the X to close them, triggers the code to close the entire workbook. To no avail, I've tried using this code:

Code:
Private Sub UserForm_QueryClose(Cancel As Integer, CloseMode As Integer)
'client concern query close box
If CloseMode = 0 Then
    Unload Me
    Cancel = True 'with and without
        End If

ThisWorkbook.Show   'with and without
End Sub

How I do keep the workbook from closing when I close the userforms?
