Excel vs. Word, Adding Borders

Okay, so if you open up word and excel and look at the borders tool bar they are different. I want to use a border style that is listed in word, but is not listed in excel. How do I add border styles to excel. Also, the drawing line types are all grayed out. Any help is appreciated.

You don't. Word and Excel are completely different programs built by separate teams at MS. Not all functionality from one can be replicated in the other. The drawing lines should be available as long as you have a workbook open, it's not protected and you don't have multiple sheets selected.
