Excel VBA Open a non excel file method and specify the software to open it with

I got his workbook that in the VBA a non excel file with the extention .tw3 with instruction openfile "filename.tw3".
this workbook works fine on one computer and the .tw3 file is opened with installed original software. The same workbook when I run it on another computer, EXCEL opens Microsoft Edge trying to open the .tw3 file.
I have tried many suggestions i read on the web, but i am not sure how to get the file open with its original software?

Thank you, i already resolved the issue by using the shell.application command to open the file with the designated software and was successful.
