excel vba autofilter ''contains'' with multiple criteria

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
If you want to filter on partial values (ie contains), then you are limited to a maximum of 2 criteria per column.
You can filter on more values using arrays, but they must be an exact match (ie =)

I've been scouring these forums for a while, is there definitely no workaround for this?

I have been trying for quite a while just to make a search bar. I have a textbox and a button, and want the user to be able to filter a table based on whether a column contains one, two, three or more words input by the user in any order. I've been trying to split the input text into an array to use this, and then trying in vain to loop through a filter for each word without overwriting the previous filter, but thus far none of these attempts have given me any success.
