Dear Friends need help for VB code
I am sending above referred file containing 500 plus records to almost 50 persons weekly for updating comments in column G and I (hatched in yellow) against each Job no (refereed Column A ) for they are responsible.

  • I am sending file through mail to all 50 plus persons together
  • Each responsible person filter data on their name and update comments in column G and I against each their project/s.
  • Then each person send file back to me ( file/ data may be or be not be in filter mode in their name (column C) while sending it to me)
  • On receipt from each person, I need to update comments (column G and I ) manually in original file from all the files received from those 50 plus persons one by one
I need help (VB code) from you

  • All comments written in column “G and I” need to be copy to original file from all those 50 plus files one by ( I will open original file and then one by one those 50 plus files)
  • If comment/s in cell of column G and I of original file already updated and found comments in 2nd file then, don’t overwrite but make these cell in RED colour (so the I can re-check and kept best comment from those two )

Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
