Hi,

I’m looking for help logging in Excel, using VBA to log in ahidden sheet the username, date and time logged in and logged out of reports inshared locations.

I know a solution exists because I’ve used one before, but Ican’t for the life of me remember how I did it…

Does anybody have anything they could share? This isbasically for me to monitor how frequently reports produced are used, and bywho.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Hi Rijnsent,

Thanks for the response! I’ve tried this and it doesn’t work. It workedonce, but it’s not re-writing the 1st row over and over.

Hi LittlegmoonBH,
that macro runs every time the user opens the file. The only catch: the data is written to the log-sheet, but if the user doesn't save the file, the new line is not there anymore the next time you open the file. Plus: the user has to allow macros to log it, if they block macros it won't work.
