:oops:
Hi All-
I'm sure someone has asked this already but I need to learn how to bump (query) a Excel file against a Access database.
Example:

I have a Excel file of license plates I also have a Access database of license plates with more information like VIN numbers and registration addresses etc. I want to find the plates in the database by useing a query....

Help...!!!

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
See if:
Data->Import External Data->New Database Query
grabs what you're looking for. You can specify the exact same data as you could with your Access queries using this method. Plus, you can refresh it whenever you like.
