Excel to Access "Blank" field

I am importing a file from Excel to Access. One field is a number (long integer) data type in Access. The problem I am running across is that sometimes I have a "blank" entry in the field in Excel. The "blank" is the result of a formula in Excel (if x,"",y). When I try to import the file I get import errors in Access for any row where the "" has been used. I do not want to use a zero since I have some actual zero values. Does anyone have any solutions. Thanks.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
What I would do is select the sheet in Excel, copy > paste special > values. This will convert all your formulas to the value they have calculated. Then you will be importing the value and not the formula.
