I'm currently new to this site and i'm in need of some excel help.
Basically, I'm working for a construction company and we need to know who is on site at all times. So timing is only important, however, knowing how many people are on the site is the most important thing in case of an emergency.
Everyone who needs to access the site has a card with the bar code of their government ID Which does have letters and numerals in it. This is in a my main data spreadsheet. Also, there are 3 sheets in the excel document called Company1 Company2 and Company3 With the Columns A1 = S/NO, B1 = IC NO and C1 = Name.
Basically, the Barcode is the IC NO and the S/NO is more so just for a visual check.
What I plan to do is have someone at the gate with a laptop and a barcode scanner to scan everyone when they come in and again when they leave.
So what I'd like some assistance in achieving is this: A clock on Clock off sheet which shows for each day when each person came and when they left. Also, I would like a dynamic sheet which shows who has clocked on but hasn't clocked off, basically a who's on site List. I'm using 2010 Excel also.
