Hello Everyone,

I need a way to calculate the hours and minutes worked on a file. So Cell A2 would have hours and minutes worked. Cell B2 has a drop down called Started. So i want excel to start recording the hours and minutes worked once someone selects started in B2. B2 also has Hold and Completed options in the dropdown. I want excel to pause the time when someone selects HOLD and to calculate the time elapsed between Hold and Finished and add it to the initial Start to Hold time once someone selects Finished. The vba should be effective in the entire region A:A and B:B. Please advise.

Did you know that Outlook's Journal function can record all the time you spend working on Office files?
