My company is looking for an excel exam to test people coming into a new position. I am looking for a test that a user would only have to know formulas and not VBA. Some sort of test where someone with a little above average knowledge of Excel could do moderatly easy.

if anyone has any tests or website links to download some tests it would be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
You bumped your thread after a whopping 8 minutes? :-?

I might think 24 hours might be a little more reasonable, you couldn't have been off the first page by then in this forum... :o

Intermediate could mean a wild host of things to anyone, I would think most intermediate users would have some working knowledge of VBA, while it may be limited... :-?

In any event, here's Aaron Blood's scale:

Perhaps you can use those specs to create a test from there. :)

Reading the one guys opinion on someones level of excel usage, he mentioned able to make your own functions. How do you make a new function in excel?

Haha, thanks a lot. That seems a little complicated for me right now. Only recently have I been using more "advanced" (not really advanced) functions in excel. Hopefully one day I learn how to do that.

Have a good day!
