Hi everyone,

I posted this to Excel message forum also, as it is a cross transfer type issue. All our users are using the same versions of Excel and Access. Is there anything I'm missing?

Excel templates to Access Db
Does anyone have any issues with using Excel Templates saving to an Access db.

I am having issues. Error message states that upon 'create a new record', and selecting 'OK', the messages says unable to write to database. The data does get into the database, but is there any way to avoid this or has anyone experienced this?

Thank you.

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
I'm not sure I'm familiar with what you're describing.
I may need you to use smaller words and to type slower....

Are you importing into Access or Exporting out of excel?
Is this manual or VBA?

Your error message sounds like a little like the standard confirmation dialog boxes (within access) that can be turned off from the Tools-Options(Edit/Find tab) -- top right Confirm box. Deselect the options you wish to choose.
