I'm sure there's another thread but I really need a quick answer on this one. I'm building a excel table through power query that holds the full data from 4 tables but when I update one of the smaller tables, it doesn't update the big table with all data in it. Please help?

Sorry to come back to you now only. I had to leave this exercise as got busy with other stuff. Back on this project now and no, my workbook calculations are on automatic. I've tried turning it to manual and then pressed calculate now and calculate sheet and it still doesn't work:(

If the big table was generated by Power Query then you need to refresh the query.

I have done so many times. The table in one workbook contains the full sales data from 4 different workbooks for 4 customers. I go into the individual workbooks for each customer and update their monthly sales at the bottom of a table in their workbooks. Then I save and close those. I go into the full sales data workbook and refresh the query and nothing happens. It's driving me crazy as I just can't get this right?

did you check to see that your connections are not broken for each of the workbooks?

Well in the side window that opens up from Queries and Connections, the connections on the individual sheets seem to still be working as when I press refresh, it gives me the refreshing icon but uploads the same amount of lines. It doesn't say upload pending. Should I check in the other individual workbooks where the data is pulled from? Will I be able to see a connection there too?

Without seeing your files, this could be very difficult to analyze. When you preview in the query, are you seeing the query updated?

Thank you @alansidman. How do I paste a mini sheet in here ? I have Xl2BB but when I capture mini sheet, and paste in here, it just gives a path. Is this right?

I might have gotten this thing to work by creating very small sheets as a test but I want to know why my full data workbook keeps creating new tables within this workbook which I also have to refresh?
