Excel table as desktop background?!

I have an Excel spreadsheet with a small and simple table - 4 coulmns about 30 rows, nothing clever.

Is there a way I can view this table as my desktop and whenever the spreadsheet is changed the desktop is changed?

I've looked into it and couldn't find anything except very old posts about Active Desktop. I have Vista Business and Office 2007.

Any ideas/suggestions greatly received Thanks!
