Excel style - Default other than Normal

If I create a new cell style from the Styles menu, how can I make that be the default rather than the Normal style.
Was hoping for a right-click option to set as default but not there.

Could it be done using VBA?
I found this on another forum, it deletes all styles other than Normal.
Is there a way to delete the Normal style then?
