Excel Speadsheets Linked To Online

Hi All,

I am wondering if something is possible and i am struggling figuring it out.

I have a spreadsheet on my computer (a locally saved file), i have a macro which is linked to a cell in a hidden sheet, i want this cell to be linked to somewhere online and this will determine if the macro can be used.

I already have the coding for the lock if the cell in the hidden sheet is not correct, but i dont know how to make the cell in the local file linked to online table or sheet and updated everytime it is opened to determine if it can be used...

Any advice?
