Excel Solver

Hello,

I'm using excel solver and have a problem I can't figure out. Here's an example: suppose I have 20 suppliers and I want solver to find me the lowest cost based on a set amount of suppliers. For example, I may want solver to give me the lowest cost using only 5 suppliers in one scenario and for another scenario use only 10 suppliers.

Is there a way to go about that?

Whats the purpose of the solver.
Pivot tables can give you top 5 or 10.

The purpose of solver is to minimize the cost based on the constraints I provide. Pivot table won't help me do that.
