Excel Sliders

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
This may help. I saved a 2003 file containg a slider as a 2007 ".xlsm" file.

Choose Developer/Controls/Toggle on Design Mode and you can copy the existing slider.

As Titian has already mentioned...go to Developer on the ribbon tab...select Controls and then pick out a Scroll bar. It should be in the vertical position, but if you want it horizontal then just grab it by the edge and spin it.

Thank you both. I couldnt find the 'cell link' field yesterday in the properties group. Must have missed it.

What an interesting 'secret' this is!

Thanks again
