Hi,

I have unique IDs in column A of "tab 1" with the same IDs in column A of "tab 2".

What I want to do is within Column E of "tab 1," is the following:

1. I want to check the ID in column A, and then if the value in the heading of "tab 1" called "topic" = "Ice Cream Van [1]" and if heading "Breakfast" = "n/a" then I want heading "Result 1" returned from "tab 2" ensuring the IDs match from column A.

2. If the value in the heading of "tab 1" called "topic" = "Ice Cream Van [1]" and if heading "Breakfast" = anything other "n/a" then I want heading "Result 2" returned from "tab 2" ensuring the IDs match from column A.

3. If the value in the heading of "tab 1" called topic = anything other than "Ice Cream Van [1]" I want "Result 3" returned from "tab 2"

I don't think this will be possible but I thought I would try.

Thanks in advance

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
This is kind of unclear. Can you share some sample data? And the way your end result would look if you had it working?

Thanks!
