Learn Excel From MrExcel, Podcast Episode 2117: CONTROL+. To Jump To The Next Corner.
Alright.
So, in yesterday's episode, we learned how to select data, CONTROL+SHIFT+DOWNARROW, CONTROL+SHIFT+RIGHTARROW.
This is a larger data set.
Now we're down here at the bottom.
If you want to move to any corner of the selection, I use CONTROL and ., and so it takes 4 to go completely around.
So, we were at the top left, that moves us to the top right, bottom right, bottom left, and then top left.
So if you're just in the wrong spot, CONTROL+., a beautiful little trick to go backwards.
Now, I…usually, you can reverse this with SHIFT but CONTROL+SHIFT+. is not the same thing, so just CONTROL+.
Like, even if I have to go…just back one, I'm going to have to press CONTORL+.
3 times -- 1, 2, 3 -- instead of having a way to jump back to the top-left corner.
Well, hey.
Thanks for stopping by.
We'll see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel.
