Learn Excel From MrExcel, Podcast Episode 2127: SHIFT+F8 For Add To Selection.
Alright, this is pretty crazy.
So, let's say that we have this range selected and now we need to select a lot more ranges.
If I hold down SHIFT and press F8, I'm in a new mode here, a mode that I've never used, called ADD TO SELECTION, and now I can just simply take the mouse, select the next range, and I have to hold down CONTROL and keep going like that, and then apply some sort of formatting to that whole range.
So, SHIFT+F8 goes into ADD TO SELECTION mode.
When you're done, just press ESCAPE, or actually, when you do any formatting, it will take you out of ADD TO SELECTION mode.
Well, hey.
Thanks for stopping by.
We'll see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel.
