Learn Excel From MrExcel, Podcast Episode 2144: ALT+O, C, A To AutoFit The Column.
Alright.
So, here we have varying columns.
I'm going to select this range, CONTROL*, and I want to AutoFit everything.
ALT+O, C, A will take each column, figure out the longest value in the column, and make it fit.
Now, this is one where there's a perfectly serviceable mouse shortcut for this.
If you would just choose all of these columns C through I and then double click any edge, it will do the same thing; so, ALT+O, C, A, or double-click the edge of the selected columns to make the columns automatically fit.
Thanks for stopping by.
We’ll see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel.
