Hi all,

I have a lot of columns in excel that I want to multiple by the same number, but want to do it in the same cells without having to create new sheets etc. I found the Paste Special + Multiply option. It does the job, but it increases the size of my excel sheet by a significant number. It seems it is multiplying the empty cells in the selected columns and I could not find a way around it. is there a way to do this without increasing the size of my excel sheet?

Thanks, Boris

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.

Try using
Code:
SkipBlank:=True
argument.

Or if doing it manually, check the 'Skip Blanks' box.

Even with Skip Blanks box, it multiplies the empty cells and gives a value "0" to where previously the cells where empty.

that is odd. On my system, the blanks remain blank.
