My boss says he wants me to increase my Excel knowledge. His very happy with where I am now which I would consider in the beginning of the advanced place. When people have questions they often come to me for help. I can record macros and modify the code to use elsewhere, know how to assign macros to buttons, use and understand pivot tables, use functions, primarily "If, Concantenate, and VLookup." We don't use charting. I have looked for seminars and the intermediate seem too basic for me. The advanced seminars seem to cover a lot of things I already know, but a great deal of training for things I doubt I will ever use.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on what seminar would be good for me? If I had my choice, I would just stay at home and take an online training class, but it has to be somewhere to go to. Go figure.

Note: the boss says not to worry about cost.

thanks in advance for any advice or thoughts

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
As there's nothing in your post or your user profile to indicate where you live, how is anyone supposed to suggest a suitable venue - or are we to take the 'not to worry about cost' literally (the world is a big place)?

It would also be helpful if you indicated the areas where you believe you'd benefit from tuition. Simply saying "The advanced seminars seem to cover ... a great deal of training for things I doubt I will ever use" isn't terribly useful.
