Select Consecutive Sheets.
A strange question today. The way the question is worded.
What is the correct process for selecting consecutive worksheets?
What do you mean "correct process"? There are several ways to do this.
"Correct" by who's definition?
It sounds like a homework question.
Look down here at the bottom of the sheet.
You will see that I have several different worksheets down there.
For me, if I need to move to the next sheet, I use Ctrl+PageDown.
So from January, I would Ctrl+PageDown to Feb, then Mar.
And you can actually go really fast.
To go to the left, Ctrl+PageUp.
So for me, to select several consecutive sheets, I am going to hold down Ctrl and Shift and PageDown.
Pagedown, PageDown, PageDown, PageDown. Like that.
That seems to be the way to go.
What are they fishing for? What is the correct process?
They are probably saying If you have January selected, and you want to select out to December, then Shift+Click on December.
I suppose that works, if you want to grab the mouse.
Which way is "correct"? Let me know down in the YouTube comments below how you would select consecutive sheets.
Just for completeness here. If you need to select non-consecutive sheets then I am going to have to reach for the mouse.
Click on Q1. Control+Click on Q2, Q3, and Q4.
What are the benefits of this? Why do you want to select multiple sheets?
If you change something on one sheet, all of the other selected sheets are changed.
That could be typing something in a cell.
Formatting. Changing column widths. But the one that I do alot: In Page Setup, I frequently say that I want a footer of "1 of however many pages".
The best way to get January, February, March to print with consecutive page numbers?
Select multiple sheets first. There is January on page 1 and 2.
When it switches over to February, it does not restart again at page 1. You get Page 3.
Please Subscribe, Like, and Ring the Bell.
