Hi,

I’m not sure if anyone can help me?

I’m trying to write an excel query and have gotten completely stuck.

Scenario
I’m wanting to write a query that looks at data and gives a response based on the data it queries. It’s actually for fault finding fixed assets for lighting. If we have:

Fitting 1 Assigned to Gateway 1 Working
Fitting 2 Assigned to Gateway 1 Offline
Fitting 3 Assigned to Gateway 1 Working
I’d like the query to state we need to visit Fitting 2

Fitting 1 Assigned to Gateway 1 Working
Fitting 2 Assigned to Gateway 2 Offline
Fitting 3 Assigned to Gateway 1 Working
I’d like the query to state we need to move Fitting 2 to Gateway 1

The fittings have a number (1-1000) and a street. I was thinking of a +/- 1 on the fitting number as part of the query?

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Dan

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Welcome, Dan

the requirement is, perhaps, not sufficiently clear. suggest you re-state the question and focus on making it very simple for others to understand

regards, Fazza
