Just a question. I have an append query created out of a connection only query and query that out puts to a table. Will the connection only query refresh each time the append query is refresh?

Also can I make both queries connection only and have success?

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
As the append query depends on your connection only one, yes this trigger a refresh for the connection only. Only in the preview window in the UI, you might not see this behaviour.
Yes for the second question, depending on what you define as "success". As in the end, some query needs to be loaded somewhere to be effective, be it a table, pivot table/chart.
