Using Excel Pro Plus and have a large table (over 100,000 rows and 100 columns) that has been added to the Data Model. I've created several Pivot tables from the Power Pivot/Manage/Pivot Table option and had a set of 16 slicers attached to 10 Pivot Tables. They were all responding correctly to the set of slicers. I've created a new Pivot Table in the same manner (from the Data Model) and then created a new set of slicers (using many of the same column names). The connection menu for the slicers shows all Pivot Tables (including the recent one). I've tried to connect the slicers to just the new Pivot Table but the original slicer set follows the new selection. I've created the slicers from the new Pivot Table and don't understand why the two sets of slicers are synchronized.

There is something I'm not understanding or doing wrong. I checked through VB and I have 13 separate Pivot Table caches.

Thanks in advance,

jaustin
