Hi Guys n Gals,

I seek your opinion I am having an ongoing battle with my clients trying to get them to upgrade to office 2003/2007 to over the 160mb memory limitation of Office XP SP3.

My clients are running java heavy apps and yahoo messenger both system resource hungry apps.

Normally killing the yahoo process will resolve most of their memory issues but recently this has not worked. We have the latest version of Yahoo Messenger 8. Sometimes killing outlook also resolves their issues.

I am hoping that the memory abilities of Excel 2003/2007 will resolve the out of memory issues we get each day. What do you think?

We are running HP DC7700/DC7800 with 3GB and 3GHZ Intel processors.

TIA

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
What do I think? That Office 2007 is far hungrier and troublesome than 2003.

What do i know? That I have spent more time restarting Excel 2007 than I did with 2003.
