I have created interfaces in both ACCESS and EXCEL for collecting month end data from departments within our plant. Each month the users input their data and then I have to move it into the correct cells for the charts to show the current months data. Problem is: that either I over-write the previous months data or I have to transfer their numbers so that I can maintain a running copy of each months numbers. What can I do to have both without all the extra work?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
It sounds like maybe a template could help you out. Its like a blank form. So you would have everything that you need for the charts, except for the data. Everymonth you would open a new spreadsheet from the template for data entry. Does this idea help you?
