My excel windows all open in the same window. If I open a new file, it opens in that window. I have 2 monitors, I want 1 spreadsheet on 1 monitor and another spreadsheet on the 2nd monitor. If I click View, "New Window" it does not like that excel program, so I cannot drag it to another monitor. Please help.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
As a correction of my sentence "If I click View, "New Window" it does not like that excel program, so I cannot drag it to another monitor. Please help.", I meant it does not open in that excel window. Its as if its locked. To find the windows I have open, I would have to click View, then Switch Windows, which is very annoying instead of just having 2-3 separate windows, each a different file, open on top of each other.

Multiple document interface, unlike all versions of Word and later versions of Excel. The only thing you can do is stretch the window across both monitors.

Or open another instance of Excel, which has different functionality.
