Every time I open a current Excel spreadsheet, another instance of Excel opens. Not another sheet but Excel with the menu tool bars. It happens with any saved spreadsheet I open.
It also happens only when I first boot up and open Excel for the first time. After I minimize the spreadsheet I open, close out the blank Excel, it doesn't happen again until reboot.
Any thoughts?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
It may have something to do with your PERSONAL.XLSB file (located here: C:\Users\ your user name \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART\ )

This file is a place to store commonly used macros. If it exists in this location but you never use it, you can delete it and it may solve the problem.

I do not have the file, PERSONAL.XLSB on my computer. Thanks for the suggestions.
