Hi All,

I've got an Excel Map of the US and the data labels appear in the middle of each state. Is there a way to move the data labels for the smaller states? They seem to be locked in their position. Thanks!

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Adam,

I don't want to assume anything, so...

Since I've never seen an Excel chart that can produce a map, you probably have a picture copied from the internet. If the picture was copied with the labels, then I'm afraid you are stuck with them. You would either have to get a blank map without the labels and add them yourself, or edit the picture using a graphic editor and erase the labels (not easy).

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the response! The Map feature is located in Insert -> Charts. I don't know if it's only available for Office 365. It seems like it should function like any other chart where I can grab the data label and move it, but the map won't allow me to.
