Hello All,

Been using Excel for since over 25 years. Company just moved to M365 and I do a lot of charting. Previously I could copy a series formula, hit escape, place the cursor back in the formula box, make my edits (inculding the series number) and get another series. I can no longer do this. Is this a "new" feature in Excel (personally I would call this a bug).

Also I format all my series (I never use the default series formatting). If I edit a series formula, which has be formatted, the formatting reverts back to the default. Again, Is this a "new" feature in Excel.

Tried doing a internet search with no luck, so I came here hoping someone could help.

Thanks.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
can you share a mini worksheet of your data, and tell us what kind of charts you are creating? We canj't really create a scenario to try to figure out a solution with vague details. Regarding your question, what formatting are you seeking? The formatting in the chart? (data series? lines? Fill? ??? ) The formatting of the labels? Can you show what you're expecting to see?
