Excel-linked tables

Should be a simple question, but I can't find the answer anywhere...

Is there a way of setting Excel-linked tables to update automatically on the database being opened?

If there's a little box to tick somewhere (which I doubt), that's great. Otherwise, any suggestions on the code to use in VBA?

The idea is that a manager can open the database and know that the queries/reports that he's looking at are using the most up to date info.

Thanks for any help.

If you have linked the tables then they will be using the most up to date info.

There's no need to manually update them when the database is opened.
