Hello all,

When replying to posts I use the Excel Jeanie to make an html of the worksheet. I copy it and paste but it doesn't show the cell borders. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

For instance this is what it looks like when I post:

Sheet2

ABC
1IDNameXXX
22163Heather45

<colgroup><col style="width: 30px; font-weight: bold;"><col style="width: 85.6px;"><col style="width: 85.6px;"><col style="width: 85.6px;"></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

Spreadsheet Formulas
CellFormula
B2{=IFERROR(INDEX(Sheet1!B$2:B$20,MATCH($A2,Sheet1!$A$2:$A$20,0)),"")}
C2{=IFERROR(INDEX(Sheet1!C$2:C$20,MATCH($A2,Sheet1!$A$2:$A$20,0)),"")}

<tbody>
</tbody>
Formula Array:
Produce enclosing
{ } by entering
formula with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER!

<tbody>
</tbody>

Excel tables to the web >> Excel Jeanie HTML 4

In the Excel jeanie interface, left hand side 2/3 of the way down, put a tick in the "Gridlines" box. Test in the Test Here forum, not this one.

Peter,

Thank you for replying. I have that box checked but still no gridlines. When I click the forum standard I get the pop up for the html. I select all then copy and paste in the forum. It shows like above without the gridlines.

I have not been able to re-produce that. You must have other settings in Excel jeanie &/or MrExcel forum settings &/or your system setting that differ from mine.
I'm not sure what.

When I click the forum standard I get the pop up for the html.
I don't get any pop up, the code is automatically copied to my clipboard & I just Paste in my forum Reply window.

I will try to paste it and see what happens thanks Peter
