Please, Please, Please help me with a way to get the Get Data process to actually work properly.
Thanks.

JSON file that I would like to import into Excel.
I'm on Office 365, Excel in Officxe 2019

I'm trying to import legitimately from web large data file in JSON format.

I've used Excel - Data - Gt Data - From File - From JSON, which open Import Data window where I select previously downloaded file "20210705_1.json" -
I click on Import. This starts "Connecting" which takes ages and then a Get & Transform (Power Query) which brings 1.5 GB.

Once the Query Editor has loaded data, I've click Convert > Into Table, then Close & Load.

All that shows in my Excel spreadsheet are two upper rows in two columns -
upper Data Header - "Name", "Value"
second row - "companies", [Record]

And at the right in a "Queries & Connections" section - Queries - "20210705_1.json"

But there is NO actual data showing.

when I click on the file name in the Queries section it does the data download of 1.5 GB all over again with the same two upper rows showing in a second spreadsheet.

Please, Please, Please help me with a way to get the Get Data process to actually work properly.
Thanks.s the data.

Hi,

after this step:
Once the Query Editor has loaded data, I've click Convert > Into Table, then Close & Load.

it looks like you still need to expand the records column. You can go to the Query Editor and add a new step, by clicking on the [Record] it should expand the data for you.
