How to use the AutoSum when you need to sum non-contiguous cells in Excel.

Excel, How to sum non-contiguous cells.
We want to add up this plus this plus this, but not this.
When I hit the AutoSum, it just guesses.
It has no clue what we're trying to do, and that's completely wrong, so we're going to ignore what they propose and click on the first number.
Now I'm going to hold down the control key while I click on the second number, see and they do B5, C7.
Again up to 254 items in that list.
Control key to click on the third item.
If you had more, just keep holding down the control key, click on the items and so on.
What if you have to add up a few different ranges?
Hit the AutoSum, choose the first range, control-click while you choose the additional ranges.
Press enter.
