I’ve got a user running a windows XP SP2 machine with Office 2002 installed. When the user searches in Excel help for Lookup (or anything else) and click’s on See Also they receive the following error message:
A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line:0
Error: Object doesn’t support this property or method.
When I choose to debug Microsoft Script Editor is showing that the issue is with:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033\MSOHELP.EXE
I’ve done a repair on the office installation this has done nothing, so I then deleted the MSOHELP.EXE and carried out a reinstall but still get the same message.
If I disable script debugging (other) in Internet explorer 6 it goes past this error but you then receive an Internet Explorer Script Error
An Error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 1
Char:1
Error: Object doesn’t support this property or method
Code:0
URL: mkMSITstore:C:\program%20files\Microsoft%20Office\Office10\1033\xlmain10.chm.chm::/html/xlfctLOOKUP.htm
I’m running out of ideas now of things to try has anyone else seen or experienced this?
