I am working on a large workbook that has several sheets and many of them utilise the grouping feature. On one of my sheets the row grouping numbers have disappeared and the row have become just hidden row with no way to unhide using the group function. I tried "clear outline" which didn't work, once I high-light and unhide I can't then re-group. I have checked the advanced display options and "show outline symbols if an outline is applied" is ticked. There are no Macros on the sheet or This workbook, so stumped? any ideas?? oh and the grouping works on other sheets just not one of them?? Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

That setting is sheet specific, so is it definitely checked for the sheet in question?

Any difference if you turn it off, exit, then go back and turn it on?
